LifeGrid works beautifully on your phone. Install it as an app for quick access, offline support, and a native feel—no app store required.
Why install?
Installing LifeGrid gives you a dedicated app icon, full-screen experience, and the ability to use it even without internet. It's faster and feels more natural than using a browser tab.
Installing on Android takes about 30 seconds using Chrome.
Open Chrome and navigate to lifegrid.app
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
Select "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
Confirm by tapping "Add" or "Install"
That's it! LifeGrid will appear on your home screen like any other app. You can move it, add it to folders, or put it in your dock for quick access.
Other Android browsers
Samsung Internet, Edge, and Firefox also support installing web apps. Look for "Add to Home screen" or "Install" in the browser menu.
On iOS, you'll use Safari to install LifeGrid. Other browsers like Chrome don't support this feature on Apple devices.
Open Safari and go to lifegrid.app
Tap the Share button (square with arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
Tap "Add" in the top-right corner
The LifeGrid icon will appear on your home screen. Launch it anytime for a full-screen, app-like experience.
Use Safari
You must use Safari to install LifeGrid on iOS. Chrome, Firefox, and other browsers on iPhone don't support adding web apps to the home screen.
Enable notifications — LifeGrid can remind you about daily planning, weekly reviews, and upcoming tasks. Allow notifications when prompted for the full experience.
Stay logged in — The app remembers your session, so you won't need to log in every time you open it.
Works offline — Once installed, LifeGrid caches your data so you can review tasks and plan even without internet. Changes sync when you're back online.
Update automatically — Unlike App Store apps, LifeGrid updates itself. You'll always have the latest features without manual updates.
"Add to Home Screen" not appearing? Make sure you're using Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS. Other browsers may hide or not support this option.
App looks different than expected? Try clearing the app from your home screen and reinstalling. This refreshes the cached version.
Can't log in after installing? Open LifeGrid in your regular browser first, log in there, then launch the installed app. Your session will carry over.
